❤️ How to Romance Chance in Date Everything

Chance Love Ending Date Everything
Chance G and G in Date Everything

To impress Chance, you’ll need to geek out a little—or a lot. His love language? An intense passion for Graveyards & Gargoyles (a fictional RPG that’s basically his entire personality).

If you want that sweet ‘Love’ ending, go full roleplay. Stay in character, take the game seriously, and just roll with it (pun fully intended). Below are the exact dialogue choices you’ll need to lock in that romantic path.

🎲 First Interaction

(Keep your cool. You’re about to impress a literal dice with your improv RPG chops.)

  • ... what did you call me?
  • Oh! Well then. A good day to you!
  • You know what they say about all work and no play.
  • Are you kidding me? Of course I've heard of G and G!
  • I'm partial to... all of them, actually. How could I possibly choose?
  • That would be a lot of fun, Chance!
  • Can we play with just the two of us?
  • I can roll with that! What's next?
  • I dunno, this sounds right up my alley!
  • You would do that for me? You're the best.
  • What do you suggest I play as?
  • The Troubadour sounds like fun!
  • When do we get to play?!
  • Sounds great! I can't wait!

🎭 Second Interaction

(Things are heating up. Time to crank the charisma and throw in a little flair.)

  • I couldn't stay away from your cute face!
  • Ready, Chance!
  • [Sass 25] WHO'S READY TO ROCK! LET ME HEAR IT, COUNTER TOP!
  • I toss them a coin for their prompt service.
  • I try to get a better look at them.
  • What's The Butcher Block?
  • I ask them, "What do you want with a simple singer?"
  • They think that... Oh!
  • They may be beautiful but there's no way they're as hot as you, Chance.
  • Okay! I'll do it! I'll save the Prince!
  • It's great because I'm doing it with you!
  • I break from the path to see what they do.
  • Ahh!! What is that thing?
  • I wanna knock this Knobgoblin's knob off!
  • Maybe this is a sign. I need to collect myself before moving forward.
  • I open my eyes, looking for the sound.
  • I bow. Instantly. No wait! I kneel!
  • I'm on my way to save your son.
  • I would be honored to have you by my side.
  • Let's make 'em go Night-Night!
  • "Is something the matter here, my Queen?"
  • What?? The King?
  • Monologue away!
  • I try to dodge out of the way!
  • The Queen gave a command. Save the Prince!
  • I'm going for the King!
  • I hope the shield works!
  • I start to throw sonic spells!
  • I understand your insinuation and I am all for it.

That’s it—just two full interactions and you’re officially Chance’s chosen one. But hey, don’t stop there. You can keep playing more campaigns with him after the romance is locked in!

🤝 How to Get the ‘Friend’ or ‘Hate’ Endings

Chance Friend Dialogue in Date Everything

Not looking for love? No problem. Whether you’re friend-zoning him or just not vibing with the G&G life, here’s how to steer the relationship in other directions:

🧡 Friends Ending

During your final scene with Chance, he’ll ask something a bit flirty. If you respond with:

"Oh... this was just supposed to be a fun thing to do with friends!"
—you’ll gracefully pivot from romance into friendship. No hard feelings, just good vibes.

😬 Hate Ending

Wanna break a nerd’s heart? Here's how (but... ouch):
Mock the game. Act bored. Break character. Don’t take it seriously. And definitely lose.
Chance won’t take it lightly—you’ll get the ‘Hate’ ending, and probably feel a little bad.

🧬 How to Realize Chance in Date Everything

Once you've secured a ‘Love’ or ‘Friend’ ending with Chance, and you've built connections with at least 10 other characters, you'll unlock the option to realize him—aka release him from the game and into the world beyond.

Each character has unique SPECS stats you'll need to hit before you can trigger their realization.

Here’s what Chance requires:

🧠 SPECS Stat🎯 Requirement

Poise(Doesn’t apply!)

Heads-up: once you realize a character, they’re gone for good. No do-overs. So make sure you’re ready to say goodbye before you pull the trigger.

That’s a wrap on Chance! Whether you romance him, befriend him, or absolutely bomb the interaction (hey, it happens), he's one of the more entertaining and heartfelt characters in Date Everything.

🎮 Happy dating—and may your rolls be ever in your favor.
